TENNESSEE
Tennessee whiskey is a uniquely American spirit with a rich history, crafted primarily in the state of Tennessee. Though it shares similarities with bourbon, Tennessee whiskey is distinguished by a few key differences—most notably the Lincoln County Process, a charcoal filtering method that imparts a smooth, mellow flavor.
To be labeled as Tennessee whiskey, it must meet several requirements: it must be made in Tennessee, consist of at least 51% corn, be aged in new charred oak barrels, and distilled to no more than 160 proof. The defining Lincoln County Process involves filtering the distilled spirit through sugar maple charcoal before aging. This extra step is what sets Tennessee whiskey apart from traditional bourbons.
Tennessee whiskey has become not only a symbol of Southern heritage but also a growing force in global spirits markets. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a classic cocktail like the Old Fashioned, Tennessee whiskey offers a taste of American tradition—refined through time and rooted in craftsmanship.
SOUR MASH
Sour mash is a crucial technique in whiskey production that enhances flavor. This process involves using a portion of mash from a previous distillation, which contains active yeast and beneficial bacteria. By introducing this sour into the new batch, distillers can create a optimal fermentation environment, resulting in a smoother and more complex whiskey. This method not only contributes to the unique character of the final product but also helps maintain the quality different batches.

STRAIGHT WHISKEY
Straight whiskey is a pure and authentic spirit, crafted from grains and aged in charred oak barrels. Its rich flavors and smooth finish reflect the traditional methods used in its production, making it a favorite among whiskey enthusiasts.
Whether sipped neat or in a classic cocktail, straight whiskey offers a timeless experience that celebrates craftsmanship and quality. Enjoy the depth and character that each pour brings to your glass.
In a world of fleeting trends, straight whiskey stands tall—rooted in authenticity, defined by tradition, and crafted with intention. It begins with a simple promise: high-quality grains, pure water, and time-honored distilling methods.
Aged in new, charred oak barrels, this spirit earns its depth through patience, not shortcuts.
Each bottle captures a bold yet balanced flavor profile—rich caramel, toasted wood, a hint of spice—all culminating in a smooth, satisfying finish. It’s whiskey the way it was meant to be: honest, robust, and full of character.
Whether you're raising a glass to celebrate or simply unwinding after a long day, straight whiskey delivers a refined experience that never disappoints.
No frills. No gimmicks. Just great whiskey made the right way.

BOURBONS WITH A TWIST
While Tennessee whiskey meets all the requirements of bourbon, what sets it apart is the Lincoln County Process. Before aging, the spirit is slowly filtered through thick layers of sugar maple charcoal. This extra step smooths the whiskey and gives it a signature mellow character.
This process is legally required for a whiskey to be labeled “Tennessee whiskey” (with one quirky exception: Prichard’s, a craft distillery, is exempt due to being grandfathered in).
So while every Tennessee whiskey is technically a bourbon, not every bourbon can call itself a Tennessee whiskey.

SMALL BATCH
Unlike large-scale industrial operations, small batch distillers often produce whisky in limited runs, allowing them to maintain a hands-on approach at every stage of the process. This begins with the careful selection of premium ingredients, often locally sourced grains chosen for their flavour, character, and historical relevance to the region.
Once the mash is created and fermentation begins, skilled distillers closely monitor temperature, timing, and other critical factors to ensure consistency and depth of flavor.
The distillation itself is often done in traditional copper stills, which help to refine the spirit and remove unwanted impurities. But what truly sets small batch whisky apart is the aging process. Each batch is typically aged in specially selected barrels, often made from American oak that have been toasted or charred to bring out specific flavour notes.
Some distilleries may even experiment with wine or sherry casks to create more complex profiles.
This artisanal approach results in whiskies that are often rich, nuanced, and reflective of their geographical and cultural origins.
Because no two small batches are exactly alike, each bottle becomes a limited edition expression. A liquid snapshot of time, place, and human touch.
Enthusiasts often treasure these bottles not only for their taste but also for the stories they tell.
Of dedicated craftsmanship, of family heritage, and of the enduring traditions that define the spirit of whisky-making.
